The turbocharger must also be efficient and all its parts checked, overhauled or replaced. The turbocharger consists of the "cold" and the "hot" part. The hot part receives the exhaust gases from the engine, and through a transmission axis rotates the cold impeller or compressor, which receives the atmospheric air from the outside; compresses the air towards the engine combustion chamber, first passing through the air radiator or intercooler which cools the compressed air by thickening it and in doing so improves the performance of the engine which, thanks to the turbo, can double its power.
